How Pakistanis Can Apply for Indonesian Visa?

Visa of IndonesiaIndonesia Embassy in Islamabad is responsible for issuing visas to Pakistani applicants who are interested in visiting the Southeast Asian country.

It is a country with largest Muslim population in the world and is famous as a tourist spot. In 2017 more than 14 million tourist visited Indonesia, if you are also interested to visit Indonesia you will need a visa.

How To Apply?

If you want to apply for Indonesia visa then follows these simple steps:

1) Download the visa application form from the official website of Embassy of Indonesia in Pakistan.
2) Fill the application form
3) Attach required documents
4) Deposit the visa processing fees in the official account of Embassy’s official account
5) Visit the Embassy on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday during 9:30 – 11:30 am to submit your visa application.

This is the simple procedure to apply for the visa, this will remain same no matter for what type of visa you are applying or what is the time period of your stay. Short visit visa, student visa or permanent visa all require the same procedure.

Documents Requirements:

The documents which will be required with your visa application form are the following:

  • Original & valid passport
  • Copy of CNIC
  • Copy of page 1,2 & 3 of passport
  • Copy of return tickets
  • Prove of hotel reservation
  • Covering letter from hotel or tour operator
  • Banks statements of at least 6 months
  • Invitation letter from Indonesian sponsor

These documents will be required no matter whether you are going as a tourist, student, visiting a family member or going to attend some business meetings. Some other documents may be required for some specific type of visa such as for business visa you will also require request letter from the company in Indonesia.

Processing Fees:

Processing charges and cost will depend on the type of visa you are applying for:

  1. Single Entry Visa = Fr. 60  (Rs. 7,800)
  2. Multiple Entry Visa = Fr. 125  (Rs. 16,000)
  3. Limited Stay Visa of 6 months = Fr. 65 (Rs. 8,500)
  4. Limited Stay Visa of 1 year = Fr. 130 (Rs. 17,000)
  5. Limited Stay Visa of 2 years = Fr. 200 (Rs. 26,000)

Processing Time:

Indonesian Embassy can take up to few weeks to process the visa, usually the process is completed within 15 working days but in some cases it may take more time. Indonesia also offers eVisa service which is currently not available for Pakistan.

Many agencies also provide service through their agents to assist you in acquiring visa of different countries including Indonesia. Students usually prefer to apply through these agencies.
