The most popular social media networking services provider, Facebook has now launched video calls on messenger app. Users now can have face to face conversations with their friends or any other who use this app all over the world. Facebook users can add video to calls to another person by this new feature with the same application. Users can video call their friends in fact if any one of them is on Apple’s iOs or any other android device.
“If you’re messaging with someone and realize that words just aren’t enough, you can simply choose the video icon in the top right corner of the screen and start a video call right from within an existing Messenger conversation,” Statement issued by Facebook.
The same services are already offered by Google Hangouts, Apple’s FaceTime and Microsoft’s Skype. Facebook had also created a separate platform for mobile users last year, by breaking off the messenger from main Facebook application and now has around 600 million users of this application.
Users of this video calling application can avail it without any cost or free initially for two years and after that could be applicable for the users. This service is currently available in the US, Uruguay, Portugal, Poland, Oman, Norway, Nigeria, Mexico, Lithuania, Laos, Ireland, France, Greece, Denmark, Croatia, Canada, Britain and Belgium, for the users of Apple and Android devices. However, will be announced soon for the other remaining countries as well.
