An integrated state owned oil company, Bahrain Petroleum Company or BAPCO has announced multiple job vacancies for its ongoing and new projects. Currently, jobs are announced for Manufacturing, Procurement, Maintenance and Production departments. However company will also announced jobs for other departments as well in the future, as gets vacant. BAPCO is looking for highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill in several positions under above mentioned departments. Bahrain Petroleum Company was established in 1929 by the Standard Oil Company of California, in Canada. The company was formed for the exploration of oil assets in Bahrain and the major success in this regards was made in 1932, when Awali oil field was discovered by the company. Texaco acquired around 50% shares of BAPCO in 1936 from Standard Oil Company of California. Government of Bahrain first acquired 60% of its shares in 1975 and finally it was fully owned by the state in 1980. Bahrain National Oil Company was also merged in BAPCO in 1999.
