While if you are interested to find jobs in Federal Government then visit National Jobs Portal which was launched by Government of Pakistan to provide access to new jobs available in all departments of federal government.
Similarly armed forces of Pakistan which includes the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy allows citizens to apply for vacancy through their official websites.
Citizens can also check the official websites for different ministry for which they want to apply, for example visit Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom if you want to see the latest career openings there.
But despite online presence, due to legal obligation and ease for citizens, all jobs are also advertised in national newspapers across Pakistan. Candidates who are interested can easily apply by following the instructions on the advertisement which includes the form, the document requirements and postal address.
The hiring process for government job consists of three steps:
- Short Listing
After applications are received, candidates are short listed and then tests are conducted for those who are eligible. Those who pass the tests then have to go through interviews in which the best candidates are selected for the available post and vacancy.
For some government jobs, such as in Police and Army, candidates also have to go through physical tests and medical reports.
