Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications has announced new job opportunities. Vacancies are announced for the position of Member (IT) (MP-1) for the head office based in Islamabad. Ministry of IT required applications from dynamic and motivated professionals to fill in the position on 2 years contract. The qualification and experience, required by the Ministry and package offered to the right candidate, is given below:
Qualification and Experience
Candidates having Masters or BCS/BSc (equivalent to 16 years of education) in computer science and any other related IT discipline from any reputable local or foreign university, are eligible to apply. However, candidates with MBA Degree and Project Management Certification will be given preference.
Ministry of IT required candidates with having minimum 15 years of diverse IT industry experience (after 16 years of education), and including 5 years of experience at management level in a reputable organization. They must have the capacity to develop a vision that how ICT can transform the e-Government services and contribute the quality of life for the citizens and increase government efficiency. The age limit of the candidate should not exceed 50 years.
Package and Other Benefits
Suitable candidate will be offered the Salary of Rs.324,000 with house rent allowance of Rs.142,000 and conveyance allowance of Rs.95.910. Medical and other facilities will be also given as per government rules and regulations.
The candidates already performing their services for the government departments, will have to resign from the position before joining.
