World’s First Temperature Controlled Pedestrian City In Dubai

temperature controlDubai: A new city has been planned in Dubai which will be equipped with a temperature control system and will house the world’s biggest shopping mall park with various hotels, amusement parks and theatres. An official statement was issued by the leader of the Dubai Holding Company and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in which they said that the city will have a 44 lac square metre area for the people on foot. There will be the world’s biggest underground park, which will be opened in winters. During summers, a compete sir conditioned environment will be provided.

Sheikh Mohammad said that his goals were not just limited to tourism although tourism was the main component of their economy and they wanted to make Dubai a tourist destination for the whole year. He hoped that the planned world’s largest shopping mall would be visited 18 billion people annually and that UAE is already known for its hotels and resorts. He said that Dubai was hard hit by economic recession in 2009, but by promoting trade, transport and tourism Dubai has bounced back on its feet.


This project will make Dubai unbeatable in terms of tourism and will maintain its hegemony in terms of retail and tourism related mega projects. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum plans to convert Dubai into an economic, cultural and a tourist hub for the 2 billion people living in the region around UAE. The world’s first temperature controlled pedestrian city will be located long the Sheikh Zyed Road in Dubai. If completed, this project will break all world records.
