London: Well folks Veena Malik is back in the news. According to the recent reports, the notorious Lollywood actress has been appointed ambassador for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Her husband Asad Khattak has also been appointed the ambassador.
Veena Malik and her husband will visit the US for raising funds. The couple informed the media in a statement that they will visit various other countries as well to raise funds for the IDPs. They said their visit will be a part of the Red Cross efforts. in their duties, they will also have to meet representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) of the United Nations (UN). Veena was happy and proud for being selected as a representative and was willing to work for the people of Pakistan. She said that she and her husband were looking forward to work for human welfare.
Veena is happily married to Asad Khattak. She got married to him in a private marriage ceremony in Dubai. The actress had vowed after her marriage to abstain from working in the movie industry and would like to focus on her married life.
