Swiss Government Refuses To Reopen Cases Against Zardari

Islamabad: The Swiss government has refused to reopen cases against the Pakistani president and the chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari. According to details, the Swiss government refused to reopen the cases in reply to the letter which was written to the Swiss government on behalf of the government of Pakistan in which it was requested to reopen all the cases against Asif Ali Zardar.

According to the reply letter of the Swiss government, the cases against Zardari cannot be reopened. On the other hand, the federal law minister for Pakistan, Farooq H. Naik has confirmed the receiving of the Swiss letter.

The government of Pakistan wrote a letter to the Swiss government on December 5, 2009 as per the order of Supreme Court of Pakistan in which it was requested to reopen the cases against Zardari.
