According to the sources, the wedding ceremony was a private affair, which was attended by the close relatives of both the bride and the groom. The wedding ceremony was kept a secret from the media. The Rawalpindi Express is all settled in his new married life it seems, keeping his marriage ceremony hidden from the prying eyes of the media.
Shoaib Akhtar is a former Pakistani fast bowler. His marriage reached the media in a strange fashion. Shoaib’s wedding was more under the limelight of the media, when media found that his soon to be bride was just 17 years old. The news about him getting engaged to the 17 year old Rubab was heard five months back, but Shoaib denied such facts as rumours and he clarified through his tweets that he was not getting married to a 17 year old.
Well, it seems that the wedding ceremony was kept a private arrangement to avoid further talks about the age difference between the two, as Shoaib Akhtar is presumably 40 years old, while his wife is 20 years old. Well if the bride and groom are happy with each other, then who are we to object.
