PCB Only Wasting Money; Says Shoaib Akhtar

shoaib akhtarIslamabad: The Former Fast Bowler Shoaib Akhtar made Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) a target of his criticism stating that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was only engaged in wasting money. NDTV further supported Shoaib Akhtar’s statement to quote that currently PCB had hired 700 members in its board whose salary amounted to 15 Crore rupees in total. They further added that people were being recruited in the Pakistan cricket board as a reward for their services, which was increasing the number of employees in the Pakistan cricket board day by day.

The statement of the former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has come at a time when the PCB has announced a management team for the 15 member team based on 10 members. Shoaib added that the PCB now consisted of inexperienced members with no knowledge at all and it was useless to talk to them. He added that at the time when he was playing cricket, PCB was more careful about spending money and that the Pakistani team was performing better in those days.

The 38 year old fast bowler had announced retirement from the cricket scene after the world cup 2011, while recently he had offered to coach for the Pakistani team.
