Islamabad: The Federal Minister has announced a new facility for the Pakistanis looking forward to go abroad and thus applying for the Pakistan National Passport in the process. According to the Federal Ministry, the national passport will be delivered to the houses in Pakistan of these Pakistanis. This means that people can apply for their passports and then will not have to worry about collecting their passports. Their passports will be delivered to their home addresses in Pakistan when it’s due.
According to the announcement, this facility will initially be made available in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Islamabad, Muzaffarabad and Quetta. The facility will be extended later on to other areas as well. The federal government stated that the passports will be sent via courier service on the address provided by the applicant. The fee for the courier service will be included in the passport fees charged initially at the start of the procedure.
This is an adequate step taken by the federal government to facilitate the citizens and will save the citizens an extra effort invested in going and collecting the passport.
