Pakistan Cricket Team Ready To Help The IDPs Of North Waziristan

Lahore: The Pakistani cricket team made a noble effort by visiting the army relief camp housing the internally displaced personnel (IDPs) from North Waziristan owing to the operation Zarb-e-Azb. In their visit they also announced financial assistance for the IDPS in the form of a cheque of 4 lac rupees. The Pakistani cricket team, visiting the army relief camp stationed at the Fortress Ground in Lahore, included head coach Waqar Younis, manager Moin Khan and captain Misbah-ul-Haq. The Pakistani cricket team expressed their support for the IDPs.

Misbah-ul-Haq stated that the Pakistani forces were fully supported heartily by the Pakistanis and the Pakistani people prayed for a complete eradication of terrorism from Pakistan and that peace is reinstated in the region. He also said that the situation in Gaza was critical and that the Israeli forces were engaged in genocide of the Palestinians. He said we as a Muslim Ummah must unit and try to come up with a solution for the Palestinians.

Waqar Younis prayed that Allah would solve the situation of North Waziristan and Palestine soon. Moin Khan expressed the support of the Pakistan cricket team for the IDPs and offered a cheque of 4 lac rupees for their assistance. A match has also been arranged on 26th July to help the IDPs of North Waziristan.
