Mobility International USA for Pakistani Women Training Program

Mobility International USA in a 16-day training program which will be held in Oregon, USA and Eugene are choosing about fifteen Pakistani women with or without disabilities. NFWWD (The National Forum of Women with Disabilities) of Pakistan will support Mobility International USA for the outreach, recruitment and training stages of the program.

The eligibility criteria for the program are that: It should be a women either disable or not: Women who are blind, deaf, having low vision, can’t hear easily, or have psychosocial problems, developmental and learning disabilities are  with different types of disabilities are highly encouraged to apply.

Pakistani citizens or those who are living in Pakistan: Women living in tribal or rural areas of the country along with womens form all the districts are highly recommended to apply for the program.

Women should at least be of 21 years old or more than that.  Should represent an educational, governmental, non-governmental, focused women’s organization or disability. The applicant must be fluent in Urdu.

MIUSA’s earlier leadership program in Pakistan: About twenty leaders and mid-level experts from Pakistan either having disability or not took part in a 14 day concentrated program in USA in May 2013. The program was useful in building and maintains their skills and abilities to direct any organization for the empowerment of men, women and children having disabilities all over the country.

Contestants include men women having disabilities or not from all states and regions of Pakistan represent different organizations. The last date to apply for the program is Tuesday, December 10th 2013. Till 5 PM PST (Islamabad).
