Governor Sindh Accepts Resignations Of MQM’s MPA’s

Karachi: The governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ibad Khan has accepted the resignations of his party’s MPA’s, who resigned after the conflicts with the ruling party.

According to details, the MPA’s whose resignations were accepted include Syed Sardar Ahmed, Faisal Sabzwari, Khalid Bin Wilayat, Dr. Saghir Ahmed, Nisar Panhwar, Adil Siddiqui, Shoaib Bukhari and Sheikh Afzal.

It is to be remembered that Pakistan People’s Party approved to restore the bill of the local bodies system of 1979 in the Sindh Assembly. After the restoration of the bill, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) reacted strongly and MQM decided to opt out of the government. After this decision, the MQM’s MPA’s who were the part of Sindh government submitted their resignations to the governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan whereas the MQM’s advisers submitted their resignations in the Chief Minister House.
