The cellular network will send the message to the users of International Roaming service in order to re-verify their SIMs this will be the initial phase of the verification which will be used to assess the genuineness of the SIM user. This preliminary process will ask for some basic information from the subscriber like the Computerized National Identity Card number along with Name of Mother and place of Birth. The data initially collected will be verified with the help of Data available with NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority). If this initial verification is done successfully the SIM will be classified as ‘Temporarily Verified’ which can only be verified until March, 31 2016 under the Biometric verification System. If the SIM is not re-verified until the said date it will be blocked. The subscribers who are using the International roaming facility in Afghanistan will not be able to undergo this procedure they need to re-verify it by themselves when they return to Pakistan.
