Republic of Armenia is among those countries which has difficult procedure and requirements for Pakistani visitors. The visa application process is difficult to initiate though the fees is not expensive.
Citizens from Pakistan can only apply for an Armenian visa if they have an invitation from Armenia. Though other countries such as UK and Denmark also have such rules but short term tourist or visit visa doesn’t require such invitation except for business visa.
How To Apply For Armenian Visa:
The method & process to apply for a visa of Armenia is different than other countries, as no embassy is established in Pakistan and no online or e-visa facility is available. Follow these steps to successfully get your visa:
1) Get your invitation for visiting Armenia
2) Download the visa application form from the official website of Foreign Ministry of Armenia
3) Fill the visa application form
4) Attach the required documents
5) The application should be submitted by the one who is inviting you to Armenia
6) Pay the visa processing fees in the Embassy
There is no Armenian Embassy in Pakistan which means that your visa application is submitted by the person who invites you, along with the invitation letter. The applicant will be required to visit the nearest Embassy of Republic of Armenia such as in Dubai, UAE, to submit your passport and get your visa.
How to Fill The Application Form?
The application form of Armenian Visa requires the same information as any other country. The applicant will be required to provide details such as:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Place of Birth
- Passport Number
- Passport validity date
- Occupation
- Gender
- Address
- Phone Number
- Purpose of Visit
- Duration of stay

As the two countries have no diplomatic missions the travelling between each country is very restricted. Some visit for tourism or business opportunities, but no student visa, family immigration or permanent residence is possible.

The processing charges for visa applications are as follows:
- Visitor visa = $31
- Multiple entry visitor visa = $83
- Single entry transit visa = $21
- Multiple entry transit visa = $37
Pakistan is the only country which doesn’t recognize Armenia as an independent country, which makes travelling between both countries difficult.
