Karachi: The former captain and test all rounder Shoaib Malik complained to the media that he was not utilized to his full potential when playing for the Pakistan cricket team. He retaliated to a comment made by Hafeez earlier on, stating that Hafeez had objected on the inclusion of Shoaib Malik earlier in the T20 cricket squad and that he will give an answer to his objection when the time comes.
Shoaib said that he was happy not being part of the Pakistan cricket squad. He stated that he was not given a chance to bowl in the T20 tournament and that he was made to bat from 8th position onwards. He said that he was disappointed on not getting the central contract but at this point he was not happy to play for Pakistan.
Shoaib said that he was sad to not play for Pakistan, but at this moment he was in England and was participating in the T20 matches. He was content for the time being playing in England. He said that in the absence of the central contract, it was easy to get a NOC from the Pakistan Cricket Board. He was concentrating on the international league meanwhile. He advised the Pakistan cricket board to allow their players to play in international leagues. He was playing from Work shire and said that his team was happy with his performance.
