Lahore: Emirates Airlines has decided to impose restrictions on Tahir-ul-Qadri that will ban him from travelling through the said airline for life. Tahir-ul Qadri could possibly be sued by the Emirates airlines and may have to face a trial to defend himself against the accusations imposed by Emirates Airlines.
According to a Pakistani private TV channel, Tahir-ul-Qadri arrived at Islamabad through Emirates Airlines on Monday, but the airlines was forced to change direction and land in Lahore under the orders of the Pakistani government under security concerns. On top of that, Tahir-ul-Qadri refused to leave the plane even in Lahore. He didn’t allow anyone else from the plane either as he feared a threat to his life. It was after mediations with the other political leaders that Tahir-ul-Qadri agreed to leave the plane.
According to the Emirates Airlines, forcing the plane emirates flight to change direction and then refusing to get off the plane is justified as a case of hijacking. The Emirates Airlines authorities have hence decided to enforce a long life ban on Tahir-ul-Qadri from travelling through Emirates Airlines.
