Sukkur Municpal Corporation (SMC) has failed to improve the waste management system in its district. Due to this reason main roads and streets situation has become worse. People are not able to walk properly.
Old Sukkur, Shamlimar Road, Regent Cinema, Walis Road, New Pand, Nawa Goth, Adam Shah Colony, Mohmadi Chowk, Station Road and belonging areas waste situation has become worse from last few months.
That’s why public is facing severe problems. When the truck came to collect the garbage its smell is creating. As well as canal lining, sewerage, drainage and bad water passing line in not cleared. Further it is lying and spreading everywhere. Transporters and drivers are facing severe problems.
Municipal Corporation is performing their duties in specific location. Where top management strictly checks and submits report from time to time. Especially in which highly gentry is living. But sadly they have neglected to congested areas. In addition they are not making plan for these areas.
Opinion
Sindh government and local administration should consider these problems. They should make plan for these areas regarding waste management, infrastructure and provide basic facilities.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Sindh government has allocated billions for the development of Hyderabad and Sukkur. Hyderabad division consists into many divisions like Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Thatta, Sujawal, Matiari, Badin, Dadu and Jamshoro.
Residents of Sukkur request Murad Ali Shah to pay a personal visit and resolve issues immediately.
