According to reports Pakistanis are considered as the second largest rising group in America. If we see the report that was published last year in a Pew Research center that the population of Pakistanis had significantly increased and was doubled in 2000 to 2010.
The number of Pakistanis legally residing in the United States is 120,000 while 50,000 are to be made eligible for living in US. From 2007 to 2009 57 percent of the Pakistanis who were born in US were legally and permanently accepted.
Most of the Pakistanis go to America for employment and studies. According to the report 16 percent of Pakistanis are coming to US on support of an employer. The per head income of Pakistanis residing in US was around 24,663 USD between 2007 and 2009. The top facilities for which many Pakistanis migrate to US are in search of Jobs or for higher education.
As most Pakistanis are enjoying facilities, there are people suffering poverty. The report declares that fifteen percent of the residents are suffering poverty while eight percent who are over 16 years of age are unemployed. Fourteen percent of the immigrants live in overstuffed houses while fifty five percent resides in rented houses.
The local Pakistani residents especially students are encouraged to go to US for higher studies. In this way they could help their country by studying there and learning about new technologies. Skilled persons can also get better opportunities.
The payment which the overseas Pakistanis from all over the world sent their home touches $12.8 billion in 11 months from (July 2012-May 2013). If it continues in such a way, then according to calculation the amount will cross $15 billion by the end of this year.
