Citizens of Pakistan will require a valid visa for Singapore if they wish to travel to the island country in Southeast Asia. The application procedure is not available online and interested candidates can only apply through consulate.
Currently there is only one consulate located in Karachi where all visa applications from Pakistan are accepted & processed.
How To Apply?
The method and process to apply for Singaporean visa is similar to any other country. To successfully apply for Singaporean visa follow these steps:
1) Download the application form from the official website of Singapore consulate
2) Duly fill the application form
3) Attach picture and other required documents
4) Attach the demand draft
5) Visit the consulate during working hours
Documents Requirement:
Multiple documents will be required with your application visa such as:
- Valid passport
- 2 passport size photos
- A letter for Consulate general detailing your reason for visit
- Letter of Introduction (sample is available on the website of consulate)
- Valid return tickets
These documents will be required for all visa types such as short stay visa, family visa, business visa or student visa. But other documents will also be required such as a letter of invitation will be required if you are travelling to attend a business expo, similarly admission letter from university will be required if you want to apply for student visa.
The visa will be of 3 months, 6 months or a year depending on your requirement and approval of consulate.
Visa Application Fees:
The cost and charges for application visa is Rs. 1,700. Charges for permanent residence will be greater. You can contact the consulate to know the type of visa which you will require and the charges.
No cash will be accepted in the consulate and applicants are required to submit bank draft in the name of Singaporean consulate.
Timing of Consulate:
Applications are accepted in the consulate during following hours:
Monday – Thursday: 10.00 am – 12.30 pm & 2.30 pm – 4.00 pm
Friday: 10.00 am – 12:30 pm
The delivery of passports will be done during the following hours:
Monday – Friday: 4.30 pm – 5.00 pm
You can also hire the services of travel agents who will represent you in the complete process for your visa.
