Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) president Zahid Saeed told that industries have destroyed due to shortage of water. Karachi residents and industrialists compelled in the hand of tanker mafia. Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) are creating drama for the people of Karachi.
Further Zahid Saeed said that export is going down due to increasing of production cost. Unfortunately government and concerned department have totally failed to provide the sufficient water. Business community is suffering losses in million. The reason is that they are spending millions of rupees to purchase water from tankers. That’s why they are unable to run their businesses in critical situation.
Zahid Saeed told that shortage of water is because KWSB is not performing their duties in proper way. They should consider their problems and provide a sigh of relief. He raised the question that if there is shortage of water then how tanker mafia is providing water to metropolitan city.
