Farooqi got her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Adamson Institute of Business Administration and Technology, Karachi and a Master of Laws degree. Sharmila Farooqi is connected to Hasham Riaz Sheikh, a ex- Wall Street investment banker and currently an advisor to the former President Asif Ali Zardari.
Woman and girls who took part in that function, organized by Sharmila Farooqi, got party flag made on their faces and also gets Mehndi designed on their hands as well. During party function nationalistic songs would be listened and all the members enjoyed and entertained a lot. At that moment Sharmila Farooqi danced along other party members and lovers.
PPP supporters were very eager and sharmeela Farooqi was encouraged her party worker during all that sight. A massive crowd came in jalsa to support PPP. People were dancing and singing to welcoming Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in politics. Bilawal and Zardari could not stop themselves and also started dancing on stage.
