All Pakistan Cement Manufacturer Association (APCMA) Chairman Mohammad Tausif Paracha has said that our current production capacity is increasing around 26.25 million ton. Because government is providing strong infrastructure for the betterment of cement industries.
Cement manufacturers are thankful to booming construction industry. They told that sale of cement increased by 10 percent from last 5 years. According to the report 6 months sale increased 11.07 percent as compared to previous year. He said that we are unable to reduce the cement prices due to high government taxes on gas and coal.
Opinion
Government should make further plans for the development of cement industry in the international business market. It will create great positive impact on the economy of Pakistan and a general uplift in the business environment. As well as attract foreign investors.
