Categories to Get Education for Overseas Pakistanis

Requirements for Admission in Pakistan for Overseas Students (MBBS/BDS)

The requirements to take admission in medical field (MBBS/BDS) in Pakistan for international students are as follows:

General Requirements

  • There is no age limit for international medical students to take admission in Pakistan.
  • They should have passed the Foundation of Science i.e. Pre-Medical.
  • Should have Higher Secondary School Certificate.
  • Should have Equivalent Certificate and Marks HSSC (In case of 12 Grads or A ‘Level Foreign Education)
  • Subject Combination must be Chemistry, Physics, English and Biology.
  • Should have taken at least 660 marks out of 1100. (Adjusted or Equivalent in other case)
  • 3 Copies of Prescribed Application Form.
  • Photocopies of all the documents should be attested.
  • 12 Photographs.

Specific Requirements for Overseas Pakistanis

  • NOC from Concerned Department.
  • Entry Test.
  • Pakistani Nationality of Applicant.
  • Father/Mother’s Original NIC.
  • Nomination Letter from Concerned Authority.
  • Pakistani Passport/Registration/NIC of Applicant.
  • HIV Status of Applicant from Prescribed Laboratories in Pakistan.
  • Applicants shall be repatriated at their Own Cost if HIV Status is Positive.

Specific Requirements for Pakistani Origin Foreign Nationals

  • NOC from Concerned Department.
  • Foreign Nationality of Applicant.
  • Pakistani Nationality of Applicant.
  • Foreign Nationality of Applicant’s Parents. (Any One)
  • Pakistani Nationality of Applicant’s Parents. (Any One)
  • Father/Mother’s Original NIC.
  • Nomination Letter from Concerned Authority.
  • Foreign Passport or Nationality Certificate of Applicant.
  • Pakistani Passport/Registration/NIC of Applicant.
  • Foreign Passport of Applicant’s Parent.
  • Pakistani Passport of Applicant’s Parent.
  • English Proficiency.
  • HIV Status of Applicant from Prescribed Laboratories in Pakistan.
  • Applicants shall be repatriated at their Own Cost if HIV Status is Positive.

Requirements to Apply Under Self Finance System

  • Foreign Passport.
  • Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC or detailed Mark Certificate of FSc (Pre-Medical/Engineering or according to the case)
  • Pak-Origin Proof.
  • Entry Test or SAT-II Result.
  • NOC to study in Pakistan

Requirements for Pakistan Technical Assistance Program

  • Foreign Nationality of Applicant.
  • Pakistani Nationality of Applicant.
  • Foreign Nationality of Applicant’s Parents. (Any One)
