Islamabad: The independent member of national assembly, Jamshed Dasti has announced to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and has decided to bring a group from South Punjab to join Imran Khan in the long march. Jamshed Dasti revealed his decision during his meeting with the Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan in Bani Gala.
Dasti also clarified to the media that he had already made his decision prior to his meeting with Imran Khan but he had decided to officially announce till now. He also assured the chairman of PTI that he was not afraid of imprisonment and that he was ready to take part in the long march and will bring a group from the Southern part of Punjab for participation in the long march.
The announcement of Jamshed Dasti one week prior to the Independence march is being viewed by the political analyst as an important development, as this move can prove to be another blow to the government.
