How Pakistanis Can Apply For Canada Visa?

If you are a Pakistani and want to travel to Canada then you will need a valid Canadian Passport before you enter Canada for which the method is simple.

The procedure for applying is same for most of the visa application but the documents requirement will differ according to the type of visa for which you are applying for.

How To Apply?

You can either apply through the online application process or through the embassy. The online application is the most convenient and easy way to apply for a Canadian visa. Follow these steps if you want to submit your online application:

1) Visit official website of Canadian Embassy to create your account by GCKey
2) Signup GCKey by selecting username, password and security question
3) Provide basic information such as name, father name & email
4) Click Start your application
5) Select your type of visa, purpose of visit & country of residence
6) Complete the application form by providing details of your residence, employment, birth, etc
7) Attach the required documents
8) Pay the visa processing fees online
9) Print the application

Documents Required:

Many documents will be required with your application form depending on the type of visa for which you apply. Documents which are required for all applications include:

• Passport
• Proof of financial support (Bank Statements, Tax returns)
• Digital Photographs
• Medical Examination Reports
• Travel History

A student visa applicant will also be required to submit letter of admission from a Canadian University. Similarly someone who is applying for a job/work visa will be required to submit appointment letter by a Canadian company.

Similarly the process for applying to get permanent residence is different which can only be processed if you have temporary residence in Canada.

Visa Fees:

The minimum fee for visa is $100 which is applicable for tourist and other short stay visas. An additional $85 will be charged for biometric data (finger prints) which is compulsory or the application process.

Canada also allows the applicant to submit the application through a travel agent, this is also applicable in the online method. The validity of the visa, time period and other details are selected by the applicant or his agent.
