Government Decided To Monitor Foreigner Accounts In Pakistan

State Bank PakistanThe Government of Pakistan has decided to monitor all the foreigner accounts which have been opened in Pakistan. In this context, Federal Government had issued directions to the law enforcement agencies and State Bank of Pakistan to monitor all the foreign accounts which exist in Pakistani banks and also monitor source of income. These institutions have also been advised to find that how these foreigners had opened their accounts in Pakistan. The National Database Registration Authority NADRA had also issued an advice to collect the details of the foreigner living in Pakistan and provide it to the provinces. It was informed to the members of the meeting that 60 organizations have been banned across the country yet. Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan issued direction to the Home Secretary that to match the list of banned organizations with the list issued by the UN with the the help of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the meeting for National Action Plan headed by Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan was held on Tuesday in Islamabad, the direction have been given to all the provinces to keep a close eye on people and organizations belonging to the banned outfits or organizations. The meeting was informed that Pakistan Telecommunication Authority had started its operation to prevent objectionable content publishing on social media.
