Fazal And Munawar Agree To Act In Peace Process

Lahore: The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman met with the leader of Jamat-e-Islami, Syed Munawar Hassan today at mansoora Lahore.

According to details, both the leaders, after the meeting, talked to media. Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, while talking to the media, said that all the political leaders on 28th of February in Islamabad were invited to talk on peace process and today’s meeting was the part of the same issue.

He added that the efforts to establish peace in the country was making at all levels, FATA tribes had also constituted a tribal jury (jirga) for peace and the jirga needed supports from the the political parties. He demanded of the country’s leadership to favour them in acting for peace process because the peace in FATA would bring peace all over the country.

“All we have to act in establishing peace in the country,” said Syed Munawar Hassan, adding that the government was responsible for the lives and prosperity of the people however, everyone had to perform in bringing peace to the country.
