Dependents would work Without Switching of Iqama

Ministry-of-labour-UAEThe Labor Ministry has made decision to permit the dependents associated expatriates to employment in the private sector without the requirement to shift their iqamas, a local newspaper reported on Thursday. Stating what it described its own private sources, the newspaper said the ministry decided to unlock the doors broad for expatriates dependents to have any employment at the private sector. Previously, this agreement was only restricted to teaching jobs at private schools. The sources said Minister Adel Fakeih decided to provide service chance to the males and females associated regular expatriates.

It is thought that he believes that the system is improved than enrollment from abroad. The sources, however, said any company wishing to take up expatriates’ dependents have to be in the green Nitaqat sector, be entitled for staffing and have to have the consent of the expats who is supporting the dependents. The dependent has to keep a valid iqama, aged below 60, does not keep a work contract with any other organization and is competent for the job if there are no Saudi applicant for it. According to the reports, the ministry decided after it mediated with the Interior Ministry on the standing alteration of expatriates.

The Ministry of Labor said the 3rd stage indicates the achievement of the first and second stages that enclosed shops for selling bride’s dresses, lingerie, cosmetics, women’s veils and accessories. Dr. Fahd Sulaiman Al-Tekhaifi said the ministry has made a plan for feminization of shops for women’s items. He said the ministry has owed 600 male and female checkers in all of the Kingdom’s areaz. They would start examination Saturday.
